Hello, pals. How is everyone doing?

Today I am gonna talk about a very common question but an important one. You all maybe wondering that why have I titled this blog as RukminiRadhika and not as RadhaKrishn or RukminiKrishn. This is because today we'll talk about only the wives and consorts of Kanha not himself.

First let's know about Shrimati Radharani:-

# Shri Radha is the first avatar of Mahalakshmi on Earth in Dwapar yug.

# She took birth in the Rawal village of Barsana in India to King Vrishbhanuji and his wife Mata Kirtida.

# She came as a blind child with a fair and golden complexion on a beautiful lotus flower floating in a pond where her father found her.

# She was the head among all the gopis and sakhis of Krishna.

# She is the eternal consort & sakhi of BalKrishna & known as Sarveshvari Devi & she is the goddess of Golok the utmost place of achieving "true love", where both of them reside from start to end.

# She made a promise to her Kanha that she will go to Earth with closed eyes and will only open them once she sees him.

# She is considered as one of the most beautiful woman of Dwapar Yug.

# Her lotus feet are considered as the place where all sorrows and misery come to an end.

# Whenever Shri Krishna is worshipped in his Murlidhar avatar, you will always find Shrimati Radharani being worshipped with him.

Now, let's talk about Shri Rukmini Maharani:-

~ Shri Rukmini is the second avatar of Mahalakshmi on Earth in Dwapar yug.

~ She took birth as a fair and golden complexioned lady in Vidarbha kingdom (present day Maharashtra) to King Bhishmaka.

~ She was an ardent admirer of Kanha from childhood and loved him selflessly without knowing the fact that it was Lakshmi herself admiring and loving her husband Shri Narayan Krishn.

~ She is the chief eternal consort & wife of Dwarkadhish. She is the heart of Dwarka. If Radhaji is Lakshmi of Vrindavan then she is Lakshmi of Dwarkadham.

~ She is the soul and heart of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna. Without her our Kanha cannot eat, sleep or do anything.

~ She is the goddess of Vaikuntha, the utmost place of achieving "moksh". She is Vishnupriya, Maa Chanchala, Narayani Devi.

~ She is also considered as one of the most beautiful woman who took birth in Dwapar Yug.

~ Whenever Shri Krishna is worshipped in his Dwarkadhish avatar, you will always find Dwarkadhishwari Shri Rukmini Maharani being worshipped with him.

~ She wrote the first love letter of the world to her Kanha for meeting her secretly in Goddess Girija's temple and abducting her from there.

:-Now let's talk about the one common question that we all have in mind when we talk about Shri Krishna, that is: If RadhaKrishna were eternal lovers then why did Krsna became RukminiKrishna and married Rakhumai and 16,107 women?

The answer is extremely simple and justified that Radha was {and is }Shri Krishna's eternal Sakhi in his incarnation on Earth but because of a curse Shri Rukmini became his wife and he had to bear separation from his Radhe but to be precise there is absolutely no difference between Shri Rukmini and Shri Radha. Because both are the beloved of the supreme, almighty Lord Krishna and both are Mahalakshmi herself. It's like two bodies but just one soul. It is often said that once if Kanha leaves a place he never returns back there. Only Love has the power to convince Kanha to come back. This was the love of Shri Radhe and Shri Rukmini towards Krishna.

When Shri Krishna left Brajdham, he went to Mathura to end the evil deeds of his uncle and the cruel ruler of Mathura, King Kans. Some days later, he got a letter from Shri Rukmini herself to abduct her and marry her because her brother Rukmi was marrying her to an indecent man. So Krishna went to Vidarbha, the place where Shri Rukmini was born on Earth, and met her secretly in a temple of Goddess Shakti and took her with him because she wanted to be with only Kanha and no other man. He even made the vast city of Dwarka with the help of the divine architect, Lord Vishwamitra for his Shri so that she is not deprived of the royal amenities and pleasures. This was the love of Kanha for his Rukmini. As Rukmini always thought of only Kanha same was with Radhaji too, that once she was in Krishn prem she'd never thought of any other man in her life. Though she was married to another cowherd named Ayan but that marriage was namesake for her. Only Kanha is the man who is always present in her heart. So, we should know that there is absolutely no difference between RadhaKrishn and RukminiKrishn. The reason Shri Lakshmi had taken two avatars was that there was a curse given to Shri Radha to be separated from Kanha for 100 years, so it was destined that she would get separated from him at some point in life, but Lakshmi had promised to never leave his husband's {Shri Hari Narayan i.e. Shri Krishna} side, that is why she had to become Shrimati Rukmini Maharani to be with her Prannath.

-- Along with these two avatars, she took 16,106 avatars to become Shri Krishn's shakti in his incarnation, all of which together become 16,108 women or wife's of Kanha. The eight most important queens of Dwarkadhish were called Ashtbharya whose names are :-

1. Shrimati Rukmini Maharani (Patarani, Mahalaxmi herself)

2. Shri Satyabhama Devi (Shri Bhumi Devi herself)

3. Jambavanti (Shri Parvathi Devi from Svarga lok)

4. Kalindi (River Yamuna)

5. Mitravinda

6. Nagnajiti

7. Bhadra

8. Madri

Now ending the topic I would like to say that there is absolutely no difference between the sakhis and wives of Kanha, because both of them are extremely dear to him. And he cannot bear the insult of even one of them. Govind loves each of us and he has immense love for all of us in his big heart of gold. He never forgives those people who hurt or create problems in his' devotees, dear ones or his sakhas and sakhis' life.
