TRANSLATION: Rukmini is in Dwaraka what Radha is in the forest of Vrindavan.
Hello, everyone. Welcome to my new blog. This blog is extremely special to me because here I am going to talk about my mother goddess Shri RUKMINI with whose mercy I am living on this Earth. As I am a Raukmineya therefore writing about LAADOBAI gives me immense pleasure. This blog is going to be a little bit long so I suggest you to read it with some other device rather than your phone. Now, let's know some facts about Shrimati Rukmini Maharani:-
1. Shri Rukmini is the second avatar of Mahalakshmi on Earth in Dwapar yug. (First one is Shri RADHE.)
2. She is the direct incarnation of Mother of the Universe Maa LAKSHMI in DwaparYug.
3. She took birth as a fair and golden complexioned lady in Vidarbha (capital city Kaundinyapur) kingdom (present day Maharashtra) to King Bhishmaka and his wife Shuddhamati.
4. She is the chief eternal consort & wife of Dwarkadhish. She is the heart of Dwarka. If Sita is Lakshmi of Ayodhyapuri then Rukmini is Lakshmi of Dwarkadham.
5. She is the soul and heart of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna. Without her our Kanha cannot eat, sleep or do anything.
6. She is the goddess of Vaikuntha, the place of achieving "moksh". She is Vaikuntha swamini, Narayani, Lakshmi.
7. She is also considered as one of the most beautiful woman who took birth in Dwapar Yug.
8. Whenever Shri Krishna is worshipped in his Dwarkadhish avatar, you will always find Dwarkadhishwari Shrimati Rukmini Maharani being worshipped with him.
9. She wrote the first love letter of the world to her Kanha for meeting her secretly in Goddess Girija's temple and abducting her from there.
10. She was Mata Janaki/Sita in her previous incarnation when Shri Krishna was Lord Rama.
11. She is known as Shishupal- yashohantri because she is the reason behind Shishupal's slain.
12. She was never born from a human's womb because no female had the power to conceive a girl who in reality is the incarnation of the Mother of this Universe.
13. She appeared on a thousand petaled Lotus flower and left this earth from the funeral pyre of Shri Krishn.
14. She is the wife, the shakti, the beloved of Lord Krishna.
15. She had ten children with Shri Krishn namely Pradyumn, Charudeshna, Sudesna and the powerful Charudeha, along with Sucharu, Charugupta, Bhadracharu, Charuchandra, Vicharu and Charu.
Now I am going to recite some stories from the life of our divine mother Rakhumaii:-
Once Vaidarbhi ji was resting and enjoying the divine pastimes with her beloved husband and a soldier came and informed both of the them about the arrival of Sage Durvasa in Dwarkadham. Mata Rukmini immediately stood up and went to receive the Sage with utmost honour and respect. Shri Krishna also accompanied her wife and served the sage with great hospitality. Shri herself cooked delicious Kheer for Rishi Durvasa and Shri Krishna to eat. But to her surprise the Sage asked Dwarkadhish to apply the Kheer on his body to please him. Shri Krishn did as suggested. But he intentionally did not apply Kheer on the soles of his feet. This angered the short - tempered sage very much and he cursed Shri Krishn that," As you did not do according to my wish and did not apply Kheer on the soles of your Feet, these will always stay vulnerable and will become the cause of your death." Upon hearing these words from the mouth of Sage Durvasa, Vaidarbhi ji became extremely worried and depressed that the sage has cursed death upon his beloved one. But Kanha calmed her down and said, " No need to worry, dear. What if I leave this mortal world and get separated from you, eventually we have to meet in Vaikuntha." Vaidarbhi ji understood what Shri Krishn said and she smiled profusely.
During the time of the Sage's visit Vaidarbhi ji served the sage with so much love and respect that the sage was filled with happiness in his heart and soul. Being extremely happy and contented, he gave few boons to Rukmini that she will be supreme among women in fame and deeds, she will not suffer from old age or disease, she will never lose her complexion and Rukmini will be the foremost among all wives of Krishna. She will always remain Kishori. Her bodily luster, purity and beauty will always remain like a 16 year old.
Then after all of this happened the sage wanted to travel and explore the temples of Siddhashram which was situated in Dwarkadham. So Shri Krishn ordered the soldiers to take him there and give him a ride but Rishi Durvasa wanted Dwarkadhish to show him his beautifully sculpted temples in Siddhashram. So Shri Krishn did as the Sage wished to but Mata Rukmini could not even stay away from her beloved for even for a second so she asked that if she could accompany them. The Sage did not wanted Vaidarbhi ji to go but he agreed on Dwarkadhish's saying. Now, midway Rakhumai became very thirsty and asked Kanha for water. The water bottle was hanging above the right back wheel of the chariot, so Kanha took the water bottle out and gave the water to her. When Sage Durvasa looked back he saw the Vaidarbhiji was drinking water without asking him for water. This angered the Sage and he cursed her that she will never be worshiped with her husband in Dwarkadham and will have a temple outside Dwarika. Today also we can see the Maharani Rukmini Temple 2 kilometers away from the Dwarkadhish Temple because of the same curse in present day Dwarka.
#Now we will talk about the mercy's of Shrimati RUKMINI Maharani and how does she look like:-
1. Her body was well constructed, the middle portion being thin. Her high hips were adorned with a jeweled locket, she had pink lips, and the beauty of her face was enhanced by her slightly scattered hair and by different kinds of earrings. The bodily luster and beauty of Rukmini appeared as if painted by an artist perfectly presenting beauty following the descriptions of great poets. Rukmini’s breasts are described as being somewhat high, indicating that she was just a youth not more than thirteen or fourteen years old. Her beauty was specifically intended to attract the attention of Krsna. Although the princes gazed upon her beautiful features, she was not at all proud. Her eyes moved restlessly, and when she smiled very simply, like an innocent girl, her teeth appeared just like jasmine buds. Expecting Krsna to take her away at any moment, she proceeded slowly toward her home. Her legs moved just like a full-grown swan, and her ankle bells tinkled mildly.
2. The below statements tell that how the puraanas define Rukmini:-
#Lakshmi by Her portion took birth on earth as Rukmini in the family of Bhismaka.(Mahabharata)
#O, hero among the Kuru, the Supreme Lord Himself, Govinda, married King Bhishmaka’s daughter, Vaidarbhi Rukmini, who was a direct expansion of the Goddess of fortune [Sriyo maatraam].(Bhagavata Purana)
#Dwarka’s citizens were overjoyed to see Krishna, the Lord of all opulence, united with Rukmini, the Goddess of fortune Rama.(SB )
3. Mata Rukmini's mercy is so endless that mere humans can't even imagine that. When Lord Krishna left his mortal body and went to Vaikuntha leaving everyone behind in Dwarka, our Mother Rukmini did not lose her patience and stood for her children and devotees because this world can live without Shri Krishn for a matter of time but without her this whole world will shatter into pieces if she leaves them. Though she was in extreme pain for separation from her beloved but she stayed for 7 days straight on this Earth for us devotees to help us revive from the deep sorrow and pain. The eighth day she along with Devi Jambavanti burnt herself along with the funeral pyre of her husband. (After Krishna's death Rukmini ascended Krishna's funeral pyre along with some other queens of Krishna. While Satyabhama and other queens opted for penance.) She beared the pain only to free us from the seven mayas of the world and activate our seven chakras of the body in seven days. She left only after that.
4. She was beautiful and confident child of pious king Bhishmaka and first woman within this world to write love letter to her desired person that also within ancient times. Lord Krishna loved her for her confidence and beauty. She did not listen to her brother Rukmi and was ready to give up life if Lord Krishna did not come to save her from Shishupal.
She dreamt of only Lord Krishna and chanted his holy name. She never let selfishness or her own desires come between her love and dedication to Lord Krishna and that love of hers conquered him. Goddess Rukmini as Adhi Devi, Adhi Mata of the Mantra. She is the one who did Mantopdesh to VedVyasa. She is potency of all potencies. She is Goddess from whom entire universe comes from. Complete energy of Vishnu comes from her, She is energy giver to Vishnu.
*This is her mercy, love, care and affection for her devotees and beloved ones that she never let's anyone harm them even a bit. She always takes care of them who devote themselves purely unto her and her beloved. She is the mother of the Universe. When he is Narayan then she is NARAYANI; when he is Vishnu, then she is VAISHNAVI; when he is Lord Varaha, she is Devi VARAHI; when he is Lord Narasimha, she is Devi NARASIMHI; when he is Lord Parshuram, she is Devi DHARANI; when he is Lord Ram, she is Devi SITA; when he is Lord Krishna, she is Devi RUKMINI/RADHA, when he is Shaktiman; she is his SHAKTI.
