Hello Everyone,
Today we're gonna talk about The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna. We all talk and chant the names of God. Don't we? Yes, off course everyone has immense faith in God and his miracles and doings. My Grandma herself has been a great devotee from the last 60 years and she firmly believes that if we pray from the heart miracles do happen. But do we really know that if we are in Krishna Consciousness or not? I know many of you do not believe in or pray to Lord Krishna but are ardent devotees of the other gods and goddesses in our Hindu religion. But today I am gonna elaborate the true definition of godliness and "Bhakti". So before knowing Krishna Consciousness we need to know about who basically is Lord Krishna.
-: We all know him as the playful and mischievous cowherd or the preacher of Shrimad Bhagavat Geeta or the great Ruler of Dwarka but who he really is {or was} none of us really know.
Krishna is Brahamand himself, he is para- brahaman, the one who is beyond time and sorrows. He is the direct incarnation of the preserver of the universe Shri Hari Narayan. He is not a normal ruler or cowherd or a human being to be specific. If I ask you all some questions, will you be able to answer them? So tell me can you hold a small 5 kg of rice kept in a sack on your small little pinkie finger for just 2 hours? No, but he held mount Govardhan weighing thousands of kilos on his little finger for 18 days continuously and even played his divine flute along with it with the other hand. Can you do that? Can you dance on the hood of a thousand headed snake and still not even lift your eyebrow even a bit out of fear? Can you dance with hundreds of Gopis at the same time? Can you have Shri Laxmi herself as your constant consort in your birth? Can you convince Dev Adidev Mahadev himself to such an extent that he get's mesmerized by you and he descends on Earth to take part in the Raasleela or celestial dance with you? No, none of us can do that ever.
But Kanha did that ages ago. He convinced AdiPurush Mahadev to become a Gopi and dance with him and Shri Radhe in the Raasleela they did on a beautiful full moon night called as "Sharad Purnima".
:- Now let's talk about who was Krishna :--
1. Krishna is known as the direct incarnation of Lord Narayan.
2. He is the only form or incarnation of Narayan who is born with all the 16 Mahakalas or 16 divine arts or attributes.
3. He is the Prannath of Shri Lakshmi or Mother Rukmini herself.
4. He is worshipped by Lord Shiva himself and is the elder brother of Goddess Parvati who is Adi Parashakti herself and is also the constant companion of Lord Shiva.
5. He is himself Lord Srinivasa who resides in the temple of Tirupati Balaji.
6. He is Srivatsa that means that Rukmini who is Shri Lakshmi herself resides on his vatsa or chest.
7. He is the Swami of both param- prem dham Golok and param- moksh dham Vaikunta.
8. He is the smallest [Lord Damodar] of all and he is the largest [Vishwa Roop] of all.
9. He is the controller, the preserver, the ultimate guardian of the whole universe (brahmand).
10. He is Srinath or the husband of Shri Mahalakshmi, whose veneration is done by everyone to have wealth and prosperity in their life.
:- Now what is Krishna Consciousness:
Krishna consciousness is basically a state of Krishn Bhakti where you forget the pleasures of materialistic things and find happiness in only Kanha. Where you have immense faith on the Lord and his doings. Where you like everything that he likes. Where you love every that person whom he loves and adores. Where you forget about sorrows and dilemma and only think about, how to make Krishna happy. Where you surrender to his lotus feet, the divine place where sorrows and cries do not dare to come. Where you know that in misery he'll protect you and in happiness he'll accompany you. This is Krishna Consciousness....
I pray to Lord that more and more people spread Krishna bhakti and prem and forget about all these wars, enmity and destruction.
Hare Krishna Hare Rama
